“Let someone see through your eyes What you have seen”
We had celebrated world eye donation day on 14th September at 4Pm -5pm. It was organized by Student Nurses Association of Dr.Jeyasekharan College of Nursing, Nagercoil.
The programme began with the prayer song by III Year B.Sc Nursing students.
Ms J. sudha III Year B.Sc nursing student welcomed the gathering and Ms A.Aathira IV year BSc Nursing student presented regarding the history of eye donation , Statistic data on Blind population in India, who can donate the eyes , who can’t donate eyes, and how to donate the eye. All the B.Sc III & IV Year students of Dr.Jeyasekharan college of nursing participated in presentation on world eye donatation day. Dr.Golden Catherine, Associate Professor, given the keynote address.
The event was concluded with the vote-of-thanks given by Mr J. Vijin Bruce III year B.Sc Nursing student.
