WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY – 2024

The World Down Syndrome Day program was observed on 23rd March 2024 at Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing through an SNA meeting held in the classroom at 12:00 noon.

The program was anchored by Ms. Keshiya Sterlin (B.Sc. Nursing III Year). Students and staff of Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing actively participated in the event.

  • Role Play: Presented by B.Sc. Nursing III Year students
  • PPT Presentation: World Down Syndrome Day by Mr. Sathish Kumar and Mr. Sachin Raj (B.Sc. Nursing III Year)
  • Significance Talk: Dr. Golden Catherine, Associate Professor, highlighted the importance of World Down Syndrome Day and the need for its observance
  • Vote of Thanks: Mr. Joel Prince (B.Sc. Nursing III Year)

The program was insightful and engaging, successfully creating awareness among students and staff about the significance of World Down Syndrome Day.
