Every year on 12th February, Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness Day is observed to promote knowledge about sexual health, reproductive rights, and STI prevention. The 2025 observance was celebrated at Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing on 26th February 2025.

The program highlighted the importance of comprehensive sex education as a foundation for lifelong sexual health. It emphasized the need for awareness in schools, workplaces, and healthcare settings to empower individuals with accurate information about their bodies, reproductive rights, and preventive practices.
