On 26th September 2023, Dr. Jeyasekharan Medical Trust College of Allied Health Sciences, in collaboration with Dr. JMT-TACT Academy for Clinical Training, conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) training program for I and II year students of the College of Allied Health Sciences. A total of 167 students participated in the program.
The training focused on Basic Life Support for Adults, including defibrillation and CPR, which were demonstrated and taught by in-house AHA faculty.
The participants included:
- B.Sc. Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology – 34 students
- B.Sc. Dialysis Technology – 35 students
- B.Sc. Cardiac Technology – 40 students
- B.Sc. Radiography & Imaging Technology – 31 students
- DMLT – 27 students
All the students participated enthusiastically and gained essential life-saving skills, equipping them to respond effectively in emergency situations.
