ANTI-RAGGING AWARENESS PROGRAM – 2024

An Anti-Ragging Awareness Program was organized by the Anti-Ragging Committee of the College of Allied Health Sciences on 11th September 2024 at the College Auditorium between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. The program was planned with the objective of creating awareness among senior students about the consequences of ragging and the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment.

The program was inaugurated by Mrs. Jeyalakshmi, Vice Principal, with an introductory speech. This was followed by a session led by Advocate Mr. Antus Jerome, MBA, LLB, DPT, DVMS, who provided valuable legal insights and created awareness about laws related to ragging. The session also included an engaging live discussion with students.

A total of 350 students from B.Sc. Operation Theatre Anaesthesia Technology, B.Sc. Dialysis Technology, B.Sc. Radiography & Imaging Technology, and B.Sc. Cardiac Technology, along with staff members from various departments, participated in the program.

The awareness program was impactful, successfully sensitizing students about the importance of preventing ragging and fostering a positive learning environment.
