On 26th January 2023, Thursday, 74th Republic Day was celebrated at Dr. Jeyasekharan Hospital & Nursing Home car parking area at 8.30am. The Trustees, Administrators, , Doctors, DNB Registrars, Department in charges, Nurses, Course Directors,Principal, Vice principal, Course coordinators, Teaching and Non- Teaching Staff and Students were enthusiastically took part in the celebration.
The program stated with a prayer song & Tamil Thai Vazhthu by college choir. Bible reading was done by Mrs. Merlin Shyla Asst. Professor, College of Allied Health Sciences followed by Bible reading by Mr. Jegan, Clerk Claim’s Department. National Flag Hoisted by DNB Registrars and BSc. SOTT Intern of Martin Luther Christian University, Meghalaya.
National pledge read by Lt. Col. Mrs. Vanammal, Nursing Superintendent followed by Republic day speech was given by B.Sc. Cardiac Technology 1st year students Ms. Monisha and Ms. Andrea Harshini.
Prizes were distributed to the staffs and students who won in the Republic day Competitions such as Elocution (Tamil/English) National Flag Making, Day Guide Making and Rangoli Competition held on 20/01/2023 & 21/01/2023. Prize winners were encouraged with cash prizes and certificates.
