Theme: “Create Awareness about the Magic Mixture”
World ORS Day was observed on 29th July 2024 with the theme “Create Awareness about the Magic Mixture.” The awareness program was organized by Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing at the Primary Health Centre, Vadasery.
Awareness was created by Ms. Sumitra (B.Sc. Nursing IV Year), who used charts to explain the benefits of ORS, indications for its use, sachet preparation, and the preparation of ORS at home settings.
The program was simple, practical, and informative, emphasizing the vital role of Oral Rehydration Solution in preventing dehydration and saving lives, particularly in community health.
