TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION – 2024

Teacher’s Day is celebrated every year on September 5th to commemorate Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India, a renowned academic philosopher, scholar, diplomat, and above all, a teacher. His birthday is observed as Teacher’s Day in honor of his immense contribution to education.

The Teacher’s Day program was organized and conducted by the students of Allied Health Sciences on 5th September 2024 at 11:00 am in the College Auditorium. Students and teachers from B.Sc. Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, B.Sc. Dialysis Technology, and B.Sc. Cardiac Technology actively participated in the celebration.

The program commenced with a prayer song by the College Choir, followed by a welcome address delivered by Ms. Varsha (B.Sc. DT III Year). The teachers were then greeted with a special dedication song. The Course Coordinator, Mrs. Jeyalakshmi, delivered an inspiring speech on the vital role of teachers in shaping society and extended her heartfelt Teacher’s Day greetings to the faculty team.

Students expressed their gratitude and respect towards their teachers through a variety of cultural activities, including speeches, dances, and songs. The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Ms. Adhevera Abhinantha (OTAT III Year), followed by the National Anthem.

The celebration was memorable, filled with heartfelt tributes and cultural performances, reflecting the students’ deep appreciation for their teachers.
