NATIONAL DEWORMING DAY – 2024

Theme: “Eliminate STH: Invest in a healthier future for children”

National Deworming Day is observed annually on 10th February to spread awareness about the importance of deworming in children aged 1 to 19 years. The initiative was launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

As part of the observance, Albendazole tablets were distributed to all students in the college. The event at Dr. Jeyasekharan College of Nursing was organized on 9th February 2024 at 11:00 am in the II Year classroom by B.Sc. Nursing II Year students, under the guidance of Mrs. T. Vimalmathy (Staff In-Charge) and Mrs. Golden Catherine, SNA Advisor.

  • Vote of Thanks: Ms. Jeflin (B.Sc. Nursing II Year)

The program was informative and emphasized the importance of deworming for a healthier future in children and adolescents.
